What roles are most critical to meeting your production needs?

Every VEGA employee contributes to the success of the company. Production quotas are directly met by operators in the manufacturing area; however, our company goals are shared across departments and every member of every team works towards achieving these objectives.

What do you love most about the greater Cincinnati region?

VEGA has been a part of the Cincinnati manufacturing community since our inception as the Ohmart Corporation in 1950. In addition to being a strong location for manufacturing in terms of access to a diverse talent pool and a thriving technology sector, Greater Cincinnati is a vibrant region backed by world-class educational institutions and health care organizations. Its central location with access to many larger cities and vacation destinations makes the Cincinnati area a desirable place to live and raise a family.

What does your business create?

For more than 70 years, VEGA Americas, Inc. - a wholly-owned subsidiary of VEGA Grieshaber KG in Schiltach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany - has provided industry-leading products for the measurement of level and pressure in the process and automation industries, including energy, petrochemical, chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, mining, plastics, food and beverage, bulk solids, and water and wastewater. VEGA combines manufacturing, distribution, and service for products that represent the most sophisticated process measurement technologies anywhere in the world.

What makes you proud to be in the manufacturing industry?
