What does your business create?
Hollaender manufactures aluminum structural pipefittings and railing components; as well as fully fabricated architectural railing & safety industrial railing systems. Our railing systems are 100% made in the USA & are used all of over the country for public space, corporate, educational, hospitality and multi-family projects. Our Speed-Rail pipefitting brand & Interna-Rail brand is known internationally and used in almost too many industries to name. Hollaender’s products are synonymous with American Infrastructure.
We operate an aluminum sand-cast foundry and aluminum/stainless steel machine centers, as well as a fabrication facility. Our Speed-Rail structural pipe fittings are used in myriad of industries including, solar panel rack systems, safety industrial railing, architectural railings & movie/live production.
What makes you proud to be in the manufacturing industry?
Our railing systems are made in Cincinnati, Ohio USA and the quality of our products are driven by our amazing employees…The average employee has a 16 year tenure and many have been here as long as 40+ years. Hollaender products can be found everywhere throughout the U.S. and are regular specified by the architects all over the world including the engineers and architects for the National Park Service, NASA, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and countless other state and federal agencies.
What career path opportunities can be pursued at your company?
Hollaender offers a plethora of positions within our organization. We have machine operators, welders, fabricators; as well as other positions within the manufacturing process. We also have shipping & receiving, engineering, accounting, drafting, project management and estimating positions that work closely with manufacturing. Hollaender offers a career path that suits almost anyone.
What roles are most critical to meeting your production needs?
Since 1946, Hollaender has been the name in American infrastructure. Our products are engineered and designed better than any of our competitors, but our products are as only as good as our people. Like every great organization, our culture drives us…so there are no specific roles that are more critical than any other role. However, we need people who want to be part of building America’s infrastructure, believe in the American manufacturer and want to join a with like-minded people to make products that matter.
What do you love most about the greater Cincinnati region?
Cincinnati has been our home since 1946 and nothing makes us prouder than seeing our products used on projects here in our hometown. We recently collaborated with the city to manufacture casting components used on the 400+ stairways maintained by the city. They are cast with City of Cincinnati on them and nothing makes us prouder.
