What roles are most critical to meeting your production needs?

The production needs of biomedical manufacturing involve all departments, however here some areas to highlight throughout this process.

The Product Development department is responsible for developing the designs of all new products. Using 3D scans and CAD software, our goal is to design and produce a part with the highest quality and best performance to ensure the highest degree of safety for our customers. Our team also designs and develops fixtures and tools to aid in the manufacturing and assembly of our products.

Elite’s Manufacturing Department produces injection molded parts. Manufacturing works cross departmental to help launch parts from conceptual to mass production. Once a part is ready for mass production, it is Manufacturing’s job to optimize processes with the aid of robotics and various other technologies to produce an acceptable part while minimizing costs.

The role of the Quality Department is to oversee all activities and tasks that are needed to maintain a level of excellence. It includes determining the quality policy, implementing quality planning, and creating policies and procedures. Our goal is to enhance product quality, reduce risk (specifically patient risk) and maintain customer satisfaction.
