The department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (MME) is offering hands-on engineering workshops and short courses for industry professionals at any stage in their career as part of a professional certificate program.

“We do have faculty active in all of these areas, so those would be the faculty involved in the instruction of the workshops… We really want folks to appreciate a little bit of the science and engineering in the process. They can take that knowledge, apply to their operations, and the new operations that come up down the road. We want that learning to be robust, so it’s well beyond the actual procedure for how to use the machine.”
